Saffron Road Foods Review #MomBlogTourFF

I participated in the Mom Blog Tour at the Summer Fancy Food Show on behalf of Wendy’s Bloggers and received Saffron Road products to facilitate my review.

If you are looking for delicious food that has great flavor and authentic recipes, I’m excited to tell you about Saffron Road Food! They are one of the amazing companies I got the pleasure to meet while at the Fancy Food Show in NYC.
Saffron Road debuted in Whole Foods stores nationally in July of 2010. They are the world’s first all-natural, Halal-certified, antibiotic free, and humanely raised frozen entree.

Saffron Road seeks to bring its mission and faith-based values to a higher calling with the local and global community, embodying a socially-conscious company ethic, as well as being a dedicated to sustainable farming practices.

Saffron Road Food has great Crunch Chickpeas. They are non-GMO Project Verified and make for a great snack. They are available in Bombay Spice, Chipotle, Falafel, Korean BBQ and Wasabi. My favorite of the 5 flavors is the Korean BBQ. It has a little heat but it’s perfect for me. My husbands favorite is the Wasabi – which doesn’t surprise me since he loves crazy hot food. 🙂

One of the new staples in our house is Saffron Road’s Simmer Sauces. These little baggies of deliciousness help make tasty meals with little effort. There are 8 great flavors, including: Harissa, Korean Stir Fry (my favorite!), Korma, Lemongrass Basil, Moroccan Tagine, Rogan Josh, Thai Red Curry, and Tikka Masala.Saffron Road -02While I was out of town one weekend, my husband took it on himself to make a delicious meal with the Tikka Masala Simmer Sauce. He saut d some broccoli, cauliflower, and added some cheese tortellini. He said it was delicious and spicy, just like he loves it.

Saffron Road Food also has Dessert Mini Tarts, Savory Hors D’oeuvres, Not Your Everyday Handhelds, Artisan Grade Broths, Gourmet Frozen Entrees, and Chicken Nuggets. I got to try the Chicken Nuggets in NYC at the Fancy Food Show and absolutely fell in love with them! I just wish they carried them in my local grocery store so I could enjoy them at home.

Make sure to follow Saffron Road online via the social media channels below, and use their Store Locator to find where they are near you. You will not be disappointed!
