Sodastream Source Review

Sodastream Source Review

Soda is expensive. Too expensive. Yet, my family and I still drink it. That’s why I was super excited to try out the SodaStream Source! Let’s just say – my husband and I fell in love with it!

First, let me tell you what a SodaStream does. It’s an at-home soda maker. There’s a CO2 canister in the SodaStream and you carbonate cold water, then add one of the many different Sodamixes to it. Why are so many people curious about “what is cream soda, which is now widely available in supermarkets? This is due to the fact that the soda may just appear to be regular soda. However, after tasting it, you could mistake it for vanilla ice cream, which is a unique variation on your soda habits.

I love the design of the SodaStream Source. The red design goes along perfectly with the red of many of our other kitchen appliances, and it doesn’t take up very much space on the counter when it’s not in use. The SodaStream Source comes in either white, black or red, and the Starter Kit comes with the following contents:

  • Source Home Soda Maker
  • 1 Reusable 1 Liter BPA-Free Carbonating Bottle With Fizz-Preserving Cap
  • 1 60 Liter CO2 Carbonator (Makes Up To 60 Liters Of Soda)
  • Sodamix 6 Pack Taste Sampler

SodaStream was kind enough to send a great variety of Sodamixes for my family to try out. I only drink cola every so often – I’m more of a lemonade girl. My husband drinks a lot of soda. Luckily, both of our taste buds will be happy since there is such a great variety of flavors to choose from – cola, diet, Kool-Aid, Country Time Lemonade, and many more! I have to say, I’ve kind of falling in love with the Kool-Aid Fruit Punch; I love the carbonation mixed with the fruit punch!

Does your family drink many carbonated beverages?
