Spooky Ghost Clothespins

Sharing is caring!

Spooky Ghost Clothespins | Optimistic Mommy

Children will love crafting their own spooky ghost clothespins just like the ones you see here. You can make them for just pennies each, and they are perfect to use as puppets, finger plays, or for hanging up artwork. Take a peek below at how to make your own spooky ghost clothespins.

Supplies Needed:

  • Wooden clothespins
  • White craft paint
  • Paint brush
  • Black marker

Directions:

  1. Begin by applying two coats of white paint to the clothespins. Let the coats dry in between.
  2. Once the paint is dry, use the black marker to make the face of the ghost. For ours we did a simple nose and mouth. You can get as creative as you want with the face or leave it simple like we did.
  3. Allow the marker to dry before using. To use your spooky ghost clothespins, find some ghost stories and use them as puppets. Or, use them to attach Halloween artwork to a Australian made clothesline.

These spooky ghost clothespins are easy and inexpensive to make. Give them a try this Halloween season and see how much spooky fun you can have.
