Finding St. Patrick’s Day décor can be a pricey endeavor, so why not try crafting your own instead? You can make a St. Patrick’s Day centerpiece just like the one you see here, using supplies you can find at your local Dollar Tree and craft store. Take a look and see how you can craft your own! But hurry, St. Patrick’s Day will be here before you know it!
Supplies needed:
Assorted paper clovers ($1 package at Dollar Tree)
Clover straws (Michael’s Craft Store)
Green flower pot (Dollar Tree)
Yellow or orange tissue paper
Craft glue or hot glue and glue gun
Directions:
1. Begin by creating the clover flowers that will be going inside of your centerpiece. To do this, add a dab of glue to the end of each straw, and press one of the clovers to it. Hold in place until dry.
2. Crumple up the tissue paper and press it loosely into the flower pot.
3. Press the straws (now with the clovers attached) into the flower pot, deep into the tissue paper.
4. If you need to, add glue to the end of the straws so they securely in place.
Now, set your centerpiece on a colorful piece of craft paper and it is ready to roll. It will look great on your St. Patrick’s Day table, desk, or anywhere you need a little luck of the Irish!
