Invest in warm lamps that bring a cozy light to the room and hang up pictures on the wall that make you smile.

It is important to take time out of each day for yourself. Whether it is fifteen minutes or an hour, you need time to rejuvenate, gather your thoughts, and just find some peace. It could be that this time is when you are in the bath; if so, why not add in some candles and read your book? Or when you first wake up in the morning, have a coffee and read the news. Whatever it is, ensure you take care of yourself this way.
