The Story of Traditional Marketing!
Marketing is a traditional concept that always helped producers and consumers at both their ends. Initially, it meant to be able to produce a product efficiently and how can they produce it at a minimum price. This was known as production concept which emerged along the industrial revolution till the 1920s. The marketers then put little more efforts, and they happened to come across the idea of selling. It was a concept by which you focus on your trading strategies and to produce in bulk with no regard paid to the notion of selling those manufactured goods. The products were produced with no market research, but after production selling, strategies like personal selling and advertising were done to maximise the sales. This idea also got vague once the intelligent marketers saw their customers “unhappy”. They researched a lot to make their customers happy and ended up knowing that the customers can only be happy if they would be provided with the products and services they need not those that the company massively produce by considering their capacities. This was known as the marketing concept which changed the entire world and revolutionised the idea of marketing which ultimately fetched “happiness” to the customers. An immense focus was drawn to the needs of customers which made the organizations realize that which products should be produced to satisfy the customers. After that, the companies assessed themselves either they were able to fulfil the needs of the customers. A daily analysis of the market was done to stay tuned with the likes, dislikes, trends, tastes, and priorities of customers to keep them satisfied. It helps to get white labeled websites.

Marketers always remained to sort out efficient most tools and techniques to boost the sales of companies and to grab larger chunks of the market share. It was a time when door to door selling i.e. personal selling was the only option. Drums were beaten to attract the customer to buy products. Gradually it shifted to the idea of promoting goods and services using the media such as print media and radio. Television was also added to list of promotion tools later on. Decades went and then the technology happened to spread its wings, such as to get white labeled sites, which covered the entire world with its revolutions. Technology brought the social media thing which provided the organisations with a fastest and cheapest medium to promote their goods and services and to enhance their sales. Social media became the most accessible and fastest tool of promotion. Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc. became the attraction for people of every age across the globe.
