I went with my husband and a couple of friends to see Doctor Strange at Dolby Cinema at AMC in West Chester, OH yesterday – and had an AMAZING experience! I’m excited to tell you about it, and I hope to convince you to go see it in Dolby Cinema at AMC format this week!
I don’t know how many times I’ve been near AMC Wester Chester and have wanted to see a movie there, but never have. Now it is going to be one of my top choices to see movies – especially if it’s in Dolby Cinema at AMC format! You walk into an amazing, big screen. It is probably the biggest screen that I have ever seen in a theatre. And those chairs you sit in? Ahh-mazing! They recline and are super comfortable. I could have fallen asleep in them, they were so comfortable. But of course, I was so into the movie that I didn’t. 🙂 I love that the seats are also situated in such a way that nothing blocks your view. The way they did this was great – there’s nothing worse than not seeing a portion of the screen because it’s blocked.
Once the movie starts, you will be blown away by the picture quality. You really feel like you are in the movie with the characters. And you cannot get any better sound quality – it is so crisp and clear. With Dolby at AMC, you really get The Total Cinema Experience. I cannot wait to see more movies this way!
As for the movie – my husband, friends, and I absolutely enjoyed it. It was everything we hoped it would be and more. As a Marvel fan already, I was looking forward to this movie. It was definitely worth the wait. The visual effects were amazing, the action sequences kept you on the edge, and I loved the story of the main character. They really brought Doctor Strange to the theater in an engrossing way that I am sure you will enjoy as well. I know I’m already excited for the Blu-ray release of Doctor Strange so I can see the bonus features.
