I’m sharing photos from our family movie night and some ideas today to help you get The Secret Life of Pets party started!
With parties, I always like to try and have a tablescape. I went with something pretty simple. I purchased the tablecloth, plates, cups, and party hats at our local Walmart. To add to it, I purchased some gummy snacks that feature characters from The Secret Life of Pets. Riley was so happy that I purchased those, let me tell ya. 🙂 That cute banner? I searched Pinterest and downloaded it from Daisy Celebrates. It definitely makes a great addition to the tablescape!
A party isn’t a party without a party crasher, right? This is Apple, one of our silly cats. I think he was mad at me because I totally forgot cat treats for him! Oops! 
Of course you can’t have a party without snacks! Popcorn is always a must!
For something even more fun, I went with a simple puppy chow mix. I adapted a recipe from Deliciously Sprinkled. Instead of the almond bark that she uses, I melted white chocolate chips. And since I couldn’t find any sprinkles, I went with mini M&M’s instead. And it was so good!
Riley was a happy camper with her snacks and her favorite movie, The Secret Life of Pets. While watching it, she said, “I’m so glad we can watch this whenever we want to!” That definitely made me smile! All of my effort was totally worth it, that is for sure!
