The Teensy Weensy Virus Virtual Book Tour Stop

Sharing is caring!

I am so excited to be today’s stop on The Teensy Weensy Virus virtual book tour! Find out more about this great book by Sherri L. Rose below!

About The Teensy Weensy Virus by Sherri L. Rose:

The Teensy Weensy Virus Book and Song by retired pediatric nurse practitioner Sherri L. Rose, provides a way for parents and caregivers to reinforce the importance of safety measures (like wearing masks, washing hands, and social distancing) to children, while giving kids the opportunity to ask questions and share their feelings. The Teensy Weensy Virus offers additional resources for adults and an informative song (sung to the tune of The Itsy Bitsy Spider) to help lighten the mood as families engage with this serious topic.

I love how developmentally appropriate this is for parents, and even grandparents, to help their children understand what’s going on. This will, hopefully, help reduce the emotional impact that this epidemic is causing. There’s even a song for preschoolers! Watch below.

I read this with my oldest daughter, Riley, who is 10 just to see how she liked it and she enjoyed it. It helped her to understand more of what’s going on with the virus. My two youngest are not even 2 and then 2 months so they’re not yet able to understand what’s going on in the world right now – but I plan to keep this book around just in case something like this happens in the future (God willing it doesn’t!). Riley and I both like this books for preschool-aged children. The song is great for kids since it reinforces ideas through song form.

You can buy The Teensy Weensy Virus on Amazon and Barnes and Nobles!
