Hershey, Pennsylvania
This American town offers some wonderful activities for families. Home of the American chocolate maker, the town perpetually smells like chocolate. Families can tour the plant to learn how chocolate is made from cacao beans. Equally fun is spending a day in the amusement park, Hershey Park.
Tokyo, Japan
The Japanese capital is the site of many anime cartoons which have become wildy popular with today’s kids. The city also provides numerous points of interest appealing to families including the National Museum or Emerging Science and Innovation as well as the Tokyo Sea Life Park.
Playa del Carmen, Mexico
Location along the Mexican Caribbean, this is a great place for families to holiday. Not only can the sparkling sandy beaches be enjoy but also many Mayan sites. There are theme parks here designed with children in mind. For instance, Discovery Jungle Park provides a place for kids to explore.
Amsterdam, Netherlands
The city offers families some fun forms of transportation including paddle boats and bike paths. A hands-on science museum, the NEMO Science Museum, is a must see for kids where it’s acceptable to touch the displays. The Anne Frank Museum is another site especially for older kids.
