Become a field technician is considered a major accomplishment. Field technicians are highly-sought-after jobs within several different IT fields, and earning the certification from Cisco will make it a lot easier to obtain a job in this competitive market. Cisco offers three exams that can be taken in order to become a field technician within the data center, routing and switching, and TelePresence career paths.
The Cisco CCT Data Center certification can be earned by successfully passing the 640-893 DCTECH test. The exam will require knowledge and ability to support and maintain Data Center operating components and work as a part of the Technical Assistance Center. By passing the 640-692 RSTECHexam, candidates will earn the Cisco CCT Routing & Switching certification, representing that knowledge of router, switch, and operational maintenance, as well as work with the TAC, has been properly assessed. Additionally, the 640-792 TPTECH test can be taken to obtain the Cisco CCT TelePresence certification.
Participants can study for these exams through a practice exam/study guide source known as TestsLive; it is strongly suggested by previous test participants. All exams must be taken at a verified Pearson VUE testing center (locations worldwide). Their lengths vary, but their content is similar in structure and organization. Each one is specialized for the related career path. Candidates that have earned the expert certification in these three career paths are highly recommended to take the technician certification exams, as having both on a resume will exemplify proficiency. The exams do not require a lot of added effort, and passing these exams will simply add to the investment in Cisco, which will undoubtedly pay off in the long run.
