I am a huge sports lover – mainly hockey. I enjoy watching baseball, football, and basketball as well though. With hockey playoffs and baseball on now, I’m in heaven! When watching sports I love to eat good food – especially with friends! Thankfully Buffalo Wings & Rings has me covered.
After a recent trip to my local Buffalo Wings & Rings, I learned that they have a brand new summer menu! It is a limited time menu with ballpark favorites! There are 9 limited time only items that you just have to try!
- Battered-Up Funnel Stixx
- Ballpark Pretzel Bites
- Hall of Flame (all-beef hot dog with seasoned Cajun spices, melted Swiss cheese, giardiniera relish, and Creole pepper sauce served on a King’s Hawaiian bun with Cajun fries)
- The Mound (all-beef hot dog with BW&R chili, cheese, jalapenos, and onions on a King’s Hawaiian bun with French fries)
- Island Diamond (all-beef hot dog with pineapple salsa on a King’s Hawaiian bun with sweet potato waffle fries and peach habanero sauce)
- Jack’d Up Wings (boneless wings in sweet Thai chili and sea salt caramel – with applewood-smoked bacon, black sesame seeds, scallions, and caramel corn)
- Bases Jammed Burger (a seasoned burger with peanut butter, strawberry preserves, applewood-smoked bacon, and pepper jack cheese)
- Coke Float
- Pinch Hit Punch (a yummy adult drink with Captain Morgan, DeKuyper Peachtree, triple sec, blue raspberry, fresh squeezed lemon, orange, and lemonade with a cherry on top)

And you can also “Get The Streak” when you “Go 9 for 9”! Ask your server for a Buffalo Wings & Rings Streak card and when you try all 9 items, you will get a free item from the “Starters and Closers” section!
We started out with our favorite appetizer – the Buffalo Chicken Nachos. We tried these the first time we ever visited Buffalo Wings and Rings and we have been talking about them ever since! I think they were even better than we remembered.
One of my friends is obsessed with peanut butter – I swear he would eat it with/on anything. Well, he tried the Bases Jammed Burger off the Ballpark Favorites menu. And he loved it! He gave it two thumbs up – which he didn’t even need to do because he was quiet throughout the whole meal because he was in peanut butter and burger heaven. 🙂
I stuck with one of my favorites – the Black and Blue Bacon Burger! I just can’t get enough of it. I upgraded my fries for the Parmesan Garlic Aioli Fries as well – so delicious! With a chef on site, I know that the food will always be delicious!
Another friend got wings – how could you not? It’s in the restaurant name!
My friends and I were actually there to watch a hockey game (and enjoy the delicious ballpark-inspired menu!), so I created a hockey word search. I decided to make it into a fun game, as well!

- During a commercial break, you and your friends start finding as many words as they can.
- As soon as the commercial break is over, count up how many words you found.
- Whoever found the most is the winner! You could also have the one who lost/found the least amount of words buy dessert or a drink for the winner, or buy the appetizer for the table! Have fun with it!
