DIY Fall Mason Jars

Fall is approaching and it is time decorate and make our homes festive for the new season. I know a lot of us are excited, well I know I am. I am over the heat. Haha.

Fall is exciting for may reason. You have the wonderful weather, kids heading back to school, the fun colors, and everything is pumpkin flavored. Since Fall is almost here I wanted to have a little fun with a fall craft!!

Mason Jars are fun and can be used for many many different things. I love including them in my crafts as they are so easy to do and the make for awesome decorations.

  1. Mason Jars
  2. Paint
  3. Sponge Brush
  4. Rocks
  5. Tealights
  6. Vinyl Decal

Step 01: First you want to make sure your jar is nice and clean. Once done, apply your decal as you like. I chose to go simply and add one large leaf shape in the front on my jars.

Step 02: Once you have your decl applied. Begin to paint. Give your first coat some time to dry before applying the second coat. I am no pro but I made the booboo of not waiting longer. =| lol

Step 03: Have fun and do more jars and more colors!!! Haha. It’s fall, you have some great color choices to go with here. =P

Step 04: Once your paint has dried, peel of your vinyl decal. This creates a nice opening for the next step. — If you don’t want to do a big leaf, try a bunch of small ones. I think that would look awesome!

Step 05: Last step is to add your tea lights and rocks inside of your jar. My craft store was out of smaller rocks so I had to go with these ones but I pretty pleased with them, plus I love their colors!

Now I was to try this project with even bigger jars!! Hope you have enjoyed the craft of the week! Be sure to check out our others crafts and check back next week to see what we have going on! =)
