Coffee is one of the most common things people have during their breakfast. It is the first thing that you drink early in the morning, which keeps you refreshed throughout the day. Although you can brew your morning coffee yourself, many users use a coffee maker to do the job for them.  There are many different ways to brew coffee, and some of them may not suit your taste. Since there is a huge demand for coffee among the consumers, many companies are now competing with each other for capturing the market of coffee makers.  In the last decade, several companies have entered the market, although only a few of them are developing the coffee makers that can consistently brew coffee of the necessary quality. Despite all of this and the various new models which are available every year, there are some things which all coffee makers have in common. Some of them are mentioned below. 

1.     Wiring:

Almost every coffee maker has wiring attached to them so that they can get the necessary electric connection. Although the size of the cord and the internal design may differ depending upon the model that you bought but generally speaking all of the coffee makers have wiring within them which needs to be maintained if you want your coffee maker to perform well for a considerable time. 

2.     Carafe:

A carafe is located within the coffee maker, which stores the coffee that is brewed. It is one of the essential parts of the coffee maker since it stores the coffee. There are different types of carafe available such as those which are made of glass while the other option is using a thermal carafe. Although you may drink your coffee straight after brewing it would not be an issue with the glass carafe but having a cup an hour later would decrease the quality and taste of your coffee since it would have gone cold. This issue is not present with thermal carafe, which maintains the temperature of your coffee for a considerable time by storing heat. 

3.     Pod:

All coffee makers come with a pod which helps the user to brew coffee quickly. Pods normally serve the same function for coffee which teabags do for making tea. A pod is like a capsule that contains coffee, and all you have to do is to add it in the coffee maker, which will quickly brew some fresh coffee for you to enjoy with your breakfast. 

4.     Warming Plate:

Every coffee maker has a warming plate with it, which has a role in warming the coffee so that it can brew. However, you need to properly maintain the warming plate from time to time so that it can function properly for a considerable period. A warming plate can catch rust available if it is not looked after properly, so make sure that you clean it once in a week or so. 

5.     Water Reservoir:

 Another item that all coffee makers have in common is that they have a water reservoir in them. The job of the reservoir is that it will allow you to fill it so that the water can be boiled and be ready to be used for brewing coffee.  Although many coffee makers would provide you with the option of having removable reservoirs which would make it easier for you to refill it and can also clean it properly. And this is beneficial for you since you no longer have to take the entire coffee machine with you to clean it. 

6.     Filter:

Another thing that all coffee makers come with is a filter. A filter is an important part of a coffee machine since it separates the fine particles of coffee from entering your cup when you finally pour it. Although there are different types of models available for coffee makers, each of them comes with a filter that is useful to provide you with the best coffee so that you can get refreshed. Many models also come with removable filters so that you can use different types according to your preference.

7.     Frother:

An item which many coffee makers have is a milk frother.  It provides the necessary amount of milk to your coffee according to your preferences. All you have to do is to push the necessary buttons which would do the rest of your job so that you can enjoy your coffee. 

8.     Cup Platform:

All coffee makers come with a platform where you can place your cups so that the coffee can be poured in it easily. There are different sizes of cups available and not all of them fit perfectly in each model so make sure that you buy your coffee machine accordingly so that you do not regret it later on when you decide to pour your coffee in. 

9.     Scoop:

All coffee makers have a scoop with them so that you can pour the amount of coffee that you need for brewing. Although scoops differ in sizes according to the model of the coffee maker that you have, you can adjust accordingly depending upon your preference. 

10.  One-touch Buttons:

Another item that all coffee makers have is the one-touch button system. It allows the user to give the necessary instructions to the machine to perform the necessary task required to brew coffee.
