Firstly, what is AliExpress?
So I’m sure you’re already aware of websites like Amazon and Ebay, well AliExpress is the Chinese equivalent. You can pretty much buy anything on AliExpress, the shipping time can be frustrating although you should remind yourself where the product is coming from, and how much you paid for it. Items that AliExpress sells can range from prices as low as 50 cents and thousands of dollars. You may want to buy a fully electric car or even get yourself a T-shirt with a funny meme. What I’m trying to say is that you can pretty much get anything you want, but be prepared.

What do I mean by Be prepared’
AliExress can be a tricky place, but with track china post package, like any tracking service will keep you away from any issues. China post tracking is very good and well organized, so not being able to see where your items are wont be a problem for you at all. As I know first hand, things can often get lost in the post and when this happens it can be super frustrating. So you just need to enter a China post tracking number and you will be able to see all the details about your airmail tracking.
Does the seller have buyer protection’
In a perfect world, we would be able to buy anything and return it if we don’t like it. But in this day and age with so many online shops, that sadly isn’t the case. But don’t worry there’s a solution to this! Buying online will always come with certain risks. Not like doing your shopping in a store, you can’t see the item prior to purchase and you’re not able to test it out properly. This means you have to rely on other people experience with the product you have in mind. The question you’ve probably got is – is AliExpress safe to use? Anyway, most of the cheap Chinese products on AliExpress are not available to purchase in physical stores. Usually, you will be making your decision completely based on the write up and the photos. It’s so important that the site and seller has a strong buyer protection policy.
Does the seller have a good repetition
This is a no-brainer, if they have some bad reviews. You’ll need to be sure to keep your wits about you. Usually the seller will have bad reviews if the communication and customer support is not up to scratch, one thing to note is that. It’s China, they may not have the best English speaking skills. This could be an issue for you, if you don’t speak Chinese.
At the end of the day, just be smart
If it sounds too good to be true, it most likely is. So if you don’t have a good gut feeling about the seller or the product, leave it. It’s not worth the risk at all.
Closing thoughts
I think it’s mostly obvious, just shop on AliExpress as you would anywhere else, but exercise a little more caution than you usually would.
