Awesome Careers for Your Inner Artist

Sharing is caring!

It is important to cultivate your inner artist, in every aspect of your life. If life were without art, life would be a mundane and melancholic thing. Art is not just painted on canvas, that would be a very nae way to look at things. Art is truly all around us, in the inherent beauty of Earth, the birdsong on a summer’s eve, and the laughter of a newborn baby. And, while there is so much more to art than the aforesaid, those perhaps stand out the most.

Art is completely subjective to every person within their respect. Some artists prefer painting, some dance, some move toward interior design, for which they are required to study at the best schools for interior design, the field being very competitive requires the best grades. Art is unique to the eye of those who consider it art, which is why paint on canvas can appear abstract to one, but to others the most beautiful thing on Earth.

How Do I Become an Artist?

Art is subjective. Art has many permutations. Art is unique. Art is your own. It is imperative that in our short lives, we find something that is poignant and meaningful to us. When you find your corner, you stay there, you plant seeds and you watch it grow. We must all tend to our corners of the Earth, and we must all cultivate them into verdant gardens of emerald beauty. Your inner artist is your best friend; your inner artist is your escape from the mundanity of everyday repetitive life. Without an inner artist, we would all be robotic zombies functioning solely to complete the requirements of our jobs, with no personalities, and nothing to distinguish us from the other billion robots traversing the planet, equally as devoid and lacking in life as ourselves.

What Careers Can I Choose?

When choosing a career in the arts, it should be specific to your interests. It is quite difficult to suggest to somebody a career that would encompass your spirit when your spirit is unique to you. To find a career as an artist you must discover what is meaningful to you and stick with it to break the cycle of monotony.

Become A Videographer

There is no shortage of potential films for a videographer to make. Wildlife films can often become very lucrative, with publications of high repute often buying them directly from the videographers themselves. You can also start by making small-budget movie productions that can take off and open doors into mainstream movie productions. You can also get into filming advertisements, and videographers who do so, are at the moment highly sought after.

Become A Photographer

A photographer, similar to a videographer is free to photograph what it is he likes. Both careers can make money with the advent of social media; your videos and photographs can receive sponsorship and you can submit them to all manner of societies that will feature them in their journals for big payments every single time, and royalties whenever they are used more than once.

Become an Author

Historically, the written word has always been perceived as an incarnation of beauty. From Wordsworth to Hein, the written word can make us smile or cry with just a sentence. The written word is perhaps the most poignant of the arts.

Become a Painter

Perhaps the most conventional artistry we could imagine is painted on canvas. There are so many different avenues to pursue as a painter, however. From watercolors to abstract art, there is something for everybody. Landscapes to portraits, and everything that comes in-between. There are many classes you can take, both offline and online, that will teach you the basics for painting. While the painting is largely personal to your form of self-expression, it is important to go to a class that can teach you all of the history and styles of brush needed to begin painting professionally and making a profit.

What If I Can’t Find my Inner Artist?

You are not alone. Finding your inner artist is an art of its own, ironically. Our inner artist should grow as we grow, from a boy to a man, and girl to a woman. The best way to cultivate your inner artist is to find the language that it speaks. You must communicate with it as you would an infant, softly and slowly, with gentle tenderness.

You cannot just pick a career, per se. Rather the career picks you. It cannot be stressed enough that it is important you pick something you want to do and don’t force it. Artistry is not like working an office job; with an office job, you can absent-mindedly mash away on a keyboard, with art it will consume your spirit and your soul, and if you derive no enjoyment from it it will eat away at your spirit until you come to loathe it. Don’t let the world dictate to you what art is.
