When I bougt my DSLR camera I wanted to learn as much as I could about it. I read books, watched videos online and much more. If you have a new camera, or are looking to learn more, I’m excited to tell you about the Best Buy Photography Workshop Tours going on!
First off – If you didn’t know, Best Buy has a wonderful Camera Experience Shop. I have visited my store’s Shop and it’s just like visiting a specialty camera store but in the middle of your Best Buy! You can receive expert help from their Camera Experience Shop Experts who have gone through extensive photography training and are also photo enthusiasts themselves. Plus the expanded assortment of cameras, lenses and accessories that you may not find anywhere else close to you. Oh, and don’t forget the hands on experience!
For Beginner Camera Users:
If you want to improve your photography game but not quite ready for the Intermediate tour, these free in-store workshop may be for you! For 2 hours you will learn the photography basics and get the chance for a 1:1 interaction with the Best Buy Camera Experience Shop Experts as they walk you through your camera’s settings.
After you complete this you can take the next step to attend an upcoming Photography Workshop Tour on October 20th and January 19th! You can sign-up to be notified of these tours when they go live for registration the fall/winter.
For Intermediate Users:
On Saturday, July 28th in Seattle, San Diego, Houston, Atlanta, Tampa, New York City and Minneapolis you can attend a half-day excursion where you’ll get the opportunity to work with pro photographers and the Best Buy Camera Experience Shop experts to conduct 4 individual photo shoots. Here is more information:
- Try out and test an array of lenses and accessories to unleash the possibilities with photography, learn to think just like a pro, and leave with amazing photos.
- In addition to lunch, you will also get a bag of camera goodies. Also! If you share your photos on social media with the hashtag #BestBuyPhotoWorkshops you will be entered to win Best Buy gift cards or a dream photograph package!
This event costs just $50 – which is a great deal especially with the giveaways, lunch, transportation, and the priceless opportunity to work with pros!
$50 is such a small fee to learn everything you’ll learn in this work shop. I highly recommend the Best Buy Photography Workshop Tour if you are able to go!
