There’s a thing we have been eating around here nonstop, pancakes. But not any pancake, we have been crushing hard on these chocolate peanut butter cup pancakes. Truth is, I first made them with my kids in mind, they are so similar to candy that I thought they were going to love them and that I could have something else more “adult” for breakfast. Boy, I was so wrong!
These chocolate peanut butter cup pancakes are so good there’s no possible way you don’t love them. Also, they are super filling and satisfying and they are a great dinner or breakfast option. You can also pack them for your kid’s lunchbox and feel like the mom of the year when your little one raves about them.
You can make it as indulgent or as healthy as you like. Top them with natural peanut butter and dark chocolate if you are looking for chocolate peanut butter cup pancakes that are a bit healthier or add a sliced banana in there for an extra serving of fruits. If you are feeling extra indulgent add an additional layer of hazelnut chocolate spread and fall in love with your culinary abilities.
And the deliciousness is not only from the toppings, the pancake itself is ultra fluffy and cloud like just like the perfect pancake should be. Even if you want to skip the toppings altogether these pancakes are super delicious! The batter has the perfect amount of flavor in it and it’s delicious by itself or with a little drizzle of maple syrup (but I really really encourage you to try the whole deal). Overall this is a great pancake recipe to keep in your recipe box.
Now excuse me while I go to the kitchen to make a batch of chocolate peanut butter cup pancakes for dinner.
