Tyson Individually Frozen Chicken in NEW Flavors - Smokey Steakhouse Seasoned & Southwest Pepper Trio Seasoned

This week we had a first for our family… chicken, that wasn’t on a pizza, delivered right to our door! I was lucky enough to receive Tyson’s new Individually Frozen Chicken. The two flavors I received are new – Smokey Steakhouse Seasoned and Southwest Pepper Trio Seasoned. You will be able to find these two new flavors exclusively at your local Walmart starting April 9th in the frozen meat aisle, like I did on a recent shopping trip. I definitely recommend going and getting you some – you will not be disappointed! Need a recipe idea? I have one that I’m going to share with you, using the Southwest Pepper Trio (but you can always swap and use the Smokey Steakhouse, as well). See how Tyson helped #InspireMyDinner!

What makes this Easy Chicken Nachos recipe so easy is the fact that you’re going to take 2 (per 2-3 people) of the Southwest Pepper Trio Seasoned chicken breasts and put them in the crock pot with a little bit of water – you can do this in the morning before you go to work, or around lunchtime, and they’ll be ready when you are! You will enjoy walking in the door – these smell so good while cooking!

When they are cooked fully, and right before you want to eat, just use a slotted spoon to remove the chicken breasts (if you use anything to pierce them, they will fall right apart!) and place them on a cutting board. Then take two forks and shred!

You will, of course, need tortilla chips. The rest of the ingredients are up to you, depending on your preferences in nacho toppings. I used Great Value’s White Corn & Black Bean Salsa, sour cream, and mild shredded cheddar cheese.

Just place your toppings as you see fit, and voil You have an easy-peasy meal! My family and I enjoyed our dinner together while watching a movie. As you can see in the picture below, they really enjoyed the nachos! After we finished, my husband looked at me and said, “Honey, I can’t wait to have those again!” I would say this was a definite success! 🙂
