Day 4 and 5 of March 2013 Blog Challenge

31 Day Blog Challenge March 2013 Button

I did not get a chance to get day four up yesterday, so I’m just going to combine day four and five into one! 🙂

Day 4: Best Childhood Memory

For this blog challenge, my favorite childhood memory would probably have to be a tie between when I was about 5 and we went to Gatlinburg, Tennessee for Easter. Of course I was so worried the Easter bunny wouldn’t find me because we weren’t home… but of course he did “find us. 😉 I had a lot of fun going on the go-carts and just spending time with my parents. Another childhood memory I remember fondly is when I was between 10-12 (I can’t remember exactly) when my parents and I went to Celina, Ohio. I remember it was beautiful because of the lake and eating an amazing fettuccine Alfredo at the restaurant right by the lake and watching everybody on their boats and Sea-Doos. It was a great time.

Day 5: Favorite Movies You Never Get Sick of Watching

I have three favorite movies that I will never get sick of watching. First one would be National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation. I have seen this movie over 200 times (no joke). There’s times when I’ve put it on at least once a week, sometimes more. This movie just never ceases to make me laugh. And, since I have seen it so many times, I can pretty much quote the whole movie… which I think drives my husband wild. LOL.

My second favorite movie is Steel Magnolias. This movie can make me laugh and cry. From the armadillo groom’s cake, to “Shelby, wake up!” this movie makes you feel so many different emotions. And I always cry. But it’s such a great movie. (Why do we always love movies that make us cry? I really don’t understand it.)

And my third movie is Finding Nemo. Totally out of place with my first two, right? I just think it’s so adorable. I still regret not going to see it in theater when it first came out. For some reason I told my mom I thought it would be stupid. I finally broke down and watched it when it came out on DVD and I completely fell in love with it. Thankfully Riley loves it as much as I do. 🙂

Don’t be shy – join in on all the fun with March’s Blog Challenge! It’s never too late to join! Here’s the picture with all the prompts:
