Dessert: Halloween Buddies

Halloween Buddies
Serves 30
4 Cups Corn Chex Cereal
Cup Semisweet Chocolate Chips (3 Ounces)
Cup Peanut Butter
2Tablespoons Butter or Margarine
Teaspoon Vanilla
Cup Powdered Sugar
1Cup Candy Corn
1Cup Salted Cocktail Peanuts
1.     Intolarge bowl, measure cereal; set aside.
2.     In1-quart microwavable bowl, microwave chocolate chips, peanut butter and butteruncovered on High 30 seconds; stir. Microwave about 15 seconds longer or until mixture can be stirredsmooth.  Stir in vanilla.  Pour mixture over cereal, stirring untilevenly coated.  Pour into 1-gallonresealable food-storage plastic bag.
3.     Addpowdered sugar.  Seal bag; shake untilwell coated.  Add candy corn and peanuts;shake to mix.  Spread on waxed paper tocool.  Store in airtight container inrefrigerator.
