Pumpkin Swirl Brownies
Serves 16
FILLING:
1Package (3 Ounces) Cream Cheese, Softened
Cup Canned Pumpkin (Not Pumpkin Pie Mix)
1Egg
3Tablespoons Sugar
1Teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
Teaspoon Ground Nutmeg
BROWNIES:
1Box Betty Crocker Premium Brownies Ultimate Fudge
Cup Vegetable Oil
2Tablespoons Water
1Egg
1. Heatoven to 350F (325F for dark or nonstick pan). Grease bottom only of 9-inch square pan with shortening or cookingspray. In small bowl, beat all fillingingredients with electric mixer on low speed until smooth. Set aside.
2. Makebrownie batter as directed on box, using cup oil, 2 tablespoons water and theegg. Spread of the batter in pan. Spoon filling by tablespoonfuls evenly over batter. Spoon remaining brownie batter overfilling. Cut through batter severaltimes with knife for marbled design.
3. Bake40 to 45 minutes or until toothpick inserted 1 inch from side of pan comes outalmost clean. Cool completely. Cut into 4 rows by 4 rows. Store covered in refrigerated.
