You may remember back in February I did two posts, Slow Cooker Chicken Tortilla Soup and Chicken Salad Wraps, featuring catering trays from Chick-fi-A Houston Road. Well, I’m at it again! Today I’m bringing you Fruit Salad Cones. This one is using fruit from a Fruit Tray.

Chick-fil-A Fruit Tray | Optimistic Mommy

The Fruit Salad tray is a great mix of fresh, chilled strawberries, blueberries, mandarin oranges, and red and green apple pieces. This is perfect for a picnic, party, or any other gathering. It’s a great price and you don’t have to worry about sliced all the fruit!

I’m going to show you what you can do with this fruit, either with a whole tray or if you happen to have any leftovers (which, believe me, is hard to have – our family loves fresh fruit!). Great news, too – you only need 3 ingredients!

Fruit Salad Cones

Ingredients:

  • Chick-fil-A Fruit Tray
  • Cool Whip (Thawed)
  • Sugar Cones

Directions:

  1. Put the amount of fruit from the Chick-fil-A Fruit Tray into a big bowl. (I used about 3/4 of it.)
  2. Add the Cool Whip to the bowl and mix.
  3. Put a couple spoonfuls into the sugar cones. And enjoy!

These are perfect for little kiddos to enjoy. And I love being able to get the fruit tray from Chick-fil-A – gotta love not having to pay the high prices for each fruit at the store and then having to go home and chop them up.

Stay tuned tomorrow for a Chicken Parmesan Bake featuring another Chick-fil-A tray! 🙂

Have you tried the Chick-fil-A Fruit Tray? What is your favorite fruit in it?
