This past Saturday, October 20th (also my 2 year anniversary!) I was lucky enough to be able to host a Graco event at the Babies ‘R’ Us in Dayton! I got to teach other mothers about the new Graco SnugRide Click Connect 40 car seat that is now exclusively sold at Babies ‘R’ Us! I’m excited to now bring you, my wonderful readers, information about this great car seat!
The Graco SnugRide Click Connect 40 car seat is the only rear facing car seat out on the market that goes from newborn and grows with baby up to 2 years of age! This is great since the American Academy of Pediatrics now recommends children be rear facing up to 2 years old. It’s great for moms on the go because the car seat detaches from base with a simple click thanks to the Click Connect attachment!
If you were like me when you heard about the AAP’s recommendation of keeping children rear facing up to 2 years of age, you were wondering how in the world your child was going to be safe, yet comfortable at the same time. Thanks to Graco, we don’t have to worry! The base of the SnugRide has 8 reclining positions to make room for our child’s ever-growing legs! And a bonus? There’s a foot rest connected to the base so the back of your car’s seats won’t get dirty from their shoes. How awesome is that?!
My absolute favorite part of the Graco SnugRide Click Connect 40 is the Simply Safe Adjust harness system. Want to know why it’s so great? Because the way you adjust the harness system is by pressing two red buttons on the back of the car seat and it moves the harness up and down – so no rethreading of the harness is needed! I know how frustrating it is trying to rethread one of those suckers, and I’m so happy that Graco has finally made it easier for us to do!

I think it’s neat that it has a foot rest connected to the base to prevent the back of the seat from getting dirty by lil’ dirty shoes!
