Hiking and then camping is one of the best ways to connect yourself with Mother Nature. Nothing can ever beat the feel of living within a tented lodging and sharing a night beneath the dim light of brightly shining stars. So, if you are looking forward to a hiking-cum-camping fun to begin your 2020 falls, here are few from our bucket list –

Chandratal Lake –

The Chandratal Lake is situated atop a high-altitude region of the Himachal. It is perhaps one of the best hiking and camping destinations to crawl. Gaining a height of around 4300 meters off the ground, the Chandratal Lake offers the blissful site to spend some time in the lap of Mother Nature. Hike for the day and the moment you reach at the top for your overnight camping, treat yourself with the delightful vistas of the stunning nature that the ‘Lake of the Moon’ surrounds you with.

Rishikesh –

When it comes to a million-dollar idea of reconnecting with Mother Nature, there is no other pious place as Rishikesh. Camping on the banks of the Holy Ganges adds on a spiritual tinge to your relaxing mood. Although the tents available there are relatively simple, they are equipped with all the necessary facilities that a hiker expects after long hours of his arduous journey.

Valley of Flowers Trek –

One of the most popular treks in the Himalayas, the Valley of Flowers Trek is for all those who enjoy moderate trekking excursion. Spread across less than a kilometre, the valley blooms with vibrant colours of blue, pink, and yellow waves. The flowers not only are distinguished based on their colour but even for their shapes, textures, sizes, etc.

Nandi Hills –

Triund –

A hidden masterpiece situated amidst the crown jewel of the Dharamshala, the beauty of the Triund is further embraced by the presence of the surreal Dhauladhar ranges. Moderately a 6-hour long trekking route, feasting yourself on the gorgeous natural vistas of the Triund from the hillock relaxes you inside out.

Chopta Chandrashila Trek –

Kunti Betta –

Skandagiri –
