1. Pacific Park

For a truly memorable event, book your next meeting at Pacific Park. Located right on the Santa Monica Pier, the iconic amusement park is home to 12 rides, including the world’s only solar-powered Ferris wheel. 

Book the whole park for a large meeting of up to 2,000 attendees, or the Seaside Pavilion for a gathering of up to 400. Afterward, let your attendees unleash their inner child with rides, games, and nostalgic food.

2. Museum of Flying

Go first-class all the way and hold your meeting at the Museum of Flying. One of the most unique meeting spaces in Santa Monica, it’s located at the Santa Monica Airport, one of the oldest continually operating airports in the country. 

You’ll find an array of aircraft, interactive and aviation-themed exhibits, memorabilia, and artifacts. There’s space for up to 600 attendees, including a separate boardroom and screening room.

3. Annenberg Community Beach House

Mix business with pleasure and history at the Annenberg Community Beach House. Built by publishing mogul William Randolph Hearst for his lover Marion Davies, this beautiful 5-acre estate offers several flexible indoor and outdoor spaces. 

Ideal for private meetings and events of all types, there’s room for groups of 10 to 400 guests. Some spaces are equipped with projectors and audiovisual equipment, and Wi-Fi is available throughout.

4. Shutters on the Beach and Casa del Mar

If you have to hold your meeting at a hotel, make the most of it and host it at a hotel right on the beach. Or better yet, if you’re planning a large meeting, hold it at two side-by-side hotels on the beach. 

The hotels offer a dual property package with access to more than a dozen indoor and outdoor spaces, from grand ballrooms to intimate breakout rooms. There are five oceanfront dining options and more than 300 guest rooms, so your whole team can stay on-site as well.

5. Hornblower Cruises and Events

For a totally different experience, why not hold your meeting out on the water? Hornblower Cruises and Events offer a fleet of five luxury yachts with capacity for a small meeting of up to 35 or a larger gathering of up to 500. 

The yachts cruise around the calm waters of Marina Del Rey so there won’t be any issues working. There’s plenty of indoor space to work, plus room outdoors. There’s Wi-Fi on board, and meals can be catered.

6. Santa Monica Bay Woman’s Club

This elegant venue is sure to take your meeting to the next level. With excellent acoustics, lighting, and audiovisual setups, the space is ideal for any meeting that requires a performance or presentation, with space for up to 400 in concert seating. There’s plenty of space for tables, making the club ideal for other types of meetings and events as well. 

7. Jonathan Club

Founded in 1895, Jonathan Club is one of the most elite private clubs in Los Angeles. The beach club in Santa Monica is one of two properties, and includes 3 acres of private beach, two pools, and other luxury amenities. 

The beautifully appointed venue is ideal for a range of private meetings and events, from intimate gatherings to large business conferences. Your guests are sure to enjoy the views, atmosphere, and catering.

8. Barnum Hall

Since 1937, Barnum Hall has been one of the top institutions in Santa Monica for arts and culture programs and events, including plays, musicals, concerts, talks and other live entertainment. It’s an ideal meeting space for events that require a stage, whether for a performance, screening, lecture or presentation. 

There’s seating available for over 1,240 attendees over two levels, along with full lighting and audio equipment, front and rear projection screen, and a variety of extra rooms.

9. Barker Hangar

Spanning 35,000 square feet, Barker Hangar is one of the largest and most versatile meeting spaces in Santa Monica and Los Angeles, with space for up to 3,000 guests. 

Featuring dramatic vaulted ceilings and a space that can be configured however you want, it’s a top venue for private and corporate events. An additional 85,000 square feet of exterior space, plus 6,000 square feet of conference rooms and production space, can also be rented.

10. Expert Dojo

Located in the heart of Santa Monica, Expert Dojo offers 8,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting space, including a roof deck that overlooks the Third Street Promenade. 

An accelerator for early-stage start-up companies, the venue is ideally set up for medium and large corporate and business meetings, networking events, launch parties, and panel discussions, with capacity for up to 240 attendees across two different meeting spaces.
