When you go all-out in your efforts, there are times when you start to feel like they are not enough. Your efforts may or may not be enough in your eyes. But what matters more is how your child sees them.
If your child is too young, he or she will hardly remember the times you forgot to do something. Instead, what they will remember are the sweet and fun moments you had with them.
2. Don’t Neglect Yourself
Another secret to becoming a great mother is taking care of yourself. This means maintaining a healthy body and a sound mind.
Start by revisiting your diet. What types of food do you normally eat? Maintain a healthy diet and your kids will follow suit as they grow up.
If you’re feeling too sick, don’t hesitate to visit your doctor.
Also, paying attention to yourself means learning how to love and accept yourself for who you are. If you love your child unconditionally, try to give that same love to yourself.
