How To Properly Style A Wedding

Sharing is caring!

It is no secret that every event designer is going to have their own special bag of tricks to make space feel more inviting. However, we have a few special tricks of our own that will help take the guesswork of styling your wedding and helping to create the ultimate atmosphere.

We understand that the small details matter, but one should never overlook the big picture as well. In order to create the perfect atmosphere where people are going to feel relaxed and enjoy the event, below are just a number of styling tips that will have them coming back again and again.

Plain Space? Use A Stylized Backdrop

If the area just feels too plain, we will create a visual point that helps to create a more interesting atmosphere. This may be something as simple as a conversation piece or photo backdrop for guests. There are some instances where we will create an evolving backdrop, which changes during the event. It may begin as a backdrop for a seating chart but transforms into a lounge backdrop as the event unfolds.

Always Seek Out Intimacy Regardless Of The Guest Count

You may be booking an event with a small number of guests or one that involves a huge guest list, in either case, it is always our goal to create an event that feels intimate and never too small or large. Our goal is to ensure that the guests feel cozy and can enjoy a one on one conversation without feeling the need to yell across a table.

Dining Outdoors? Book A Tent!

Nothing makes us happier than bringing our tents outdoors. There are a number of options that are available when choosing a tent, and this is an element that can transform your event from casual to formal with simple changes. If the venue has been optimized for indoor dining, we may bring the guests outdoors for an evening of dancing outdoors in an open-air tent. Click here for a great outdoor tent experience!

Draw Guest Attention Upwards

With the right combination of plants, drapery and lighting it is possible to create an ethereal look that is going to help draw the eye in an upward direction and make the most of the space. While working with venues that are composed of high ceilings, we will use a variety of designs to help create specific focal points directly above the dancing or dining area.

More Than Dishes For Tables

We are firm believers in being able to tell the story of a couple through the design of the wedding. We love tabletops and have often turned to Casa de Perrin or Table Manners to see what is hot and trending in terms of table accessories. We are not just looking at glassware and plates, but the whole concept of the table. This can include candle holders, floral arrangements, linens, paper material and anything else that is going to allow us the opportunity to tell your unique story. Chiavari chair hire Glasgow will finish the ambience of the tables beautifully.
