Having connections is important. Especially in the blogging world that I live in. A few months ago you may remember me writing a post about a Car Caché. The creator of that great car organizer, Catherine, put me in contact with a friend of hers, Linda Tulley. Linda is a Jewell handbag representative! I actually heard about Jewell back in November because of a post my friend, Lisa Woodruff, posted on her blog Organize 365. Linda and I did a Facetime chat and she offered to let me review one of these bags here! I knew that if Lisa enjoyed hers, I would as well… and I was correct!
Let me tell you a little about Jewell first. Jewell was started by two sisters; Cindy Jewell Monroe and Christie Jewell Woodfin. Jewell is all about beautiful handbags and accessories that are sold at personal Boutiques to small groups of friends. All the bags come in beautiful colors, with lots of room to hold your every day essentials. The best part is that you can purchase pockets that fit your needs and they just snap in to your handbag so you can transfer them bag to bag! How great is that?!
The bag I chose is the Jewell Love Letter in Boardwalk Dreams. It also comes in an Afternoon Blush, which is like a tan/brownish color – very stunning as well. It has an outside pocket on the back so you can put our phone in (or your Kindle Fire, like I do with mine sometimes). When you open the beautiful Jewell signature turnlock, there is also a pocket that is right next to the flap (hard to explain, so sorry!).
I love the inside of the Love Letter. It has plenty of room for my wallet, a pack of tissues, a small make-up bag, and even a digital camera. If you don’t want to purchase pockets yet, you still get two that are built into the bag. It’s perfect for your phone, keys, lipstick, or what-have-you. For only $82, you get a great value for the room and organization and quality of this beautiful bag.
I’m in love with the details that you find on this bag. Above is the turnlock on the front of the bag. This combined with the beautiful Jewell logo on the back and the clasps on the detachable strap, you don’t definitely don’t see details like this in every product. It is definitely what sets Jewell ahead. I’ve already gotten quite a few compliments on this beautiful Love Letter handbag. I can’t wait to purchase some pockets for the inside, as well as another bag! 🙂
