As a wife, mother, blogger, craft lover/maker, and Scentsy consultant, I know how important it is to be organized. All of that, for me, starts with my desk. I keep track of all paperwork (whether it be shot records for Riley, instructions for crafts, or any of my Scentsy paperwork) at my desk. If my desk is a mess, then I feel like I’m a completely mess. For example, right now my desk has a stack of magazines I’ve received in the past month that I haven’t gotten a chance to look at (in fact, my daughter has looked at them more than I have – weird, huh?), plus notes for various blogging endeavors I’m doing right now, plus skeins of DMC floss for projects I have been working on. I feel like the most unorganized person right now.
That’s why buying home or business office furniture should be easy. Keeping yourself organized can be a daunting task, but the process of buying it shouldn’t. You have to find a company that works with you. Plus you have to find a system that works for you. For me, having a desk with several shelves works for me. It might not be that simple for you, or you may need more room for files or what-have-you. You just have to find a system that works for you.
What do you have as far as business furniture goes? What kind of system for organization do you have?

No kidding!! Mine looks nothing like that. I have a “L” shaped disk and it’s FULL of papers and stuff!!
I am in dire need or organizing my new desk , which is about three times smaller than my favorite desk.
Your desk looks so nice! Mine is so small that it always looks cramped :-p. A good work space is very important.

We have good desks but need to find better desk chairs. It is important when you sit so much at your desk! (My sister sells Scentsy too!)

My desk is SO messy! I clean it and before I know it, there are post it notes, papers and cords all over it. It’s a never ending battle. I need to get some kind of organization going on and stick to it.
Being organized is one of my biggest problems. But I will try to change that so that I can work comfortably and be more productive in my work. Thanks for this inspiration!
