Disclosure: I received the product free to review. All opinions are 100% my own, though!

A couple months ago I got to meet Angela from Library Girl Reads at a Purse Pact meeting. She’s such a sweetheart! Definitely go check out her blog! A couple weeks after the meeting she invited me to an online Origami Owl jewelry bar party she was the hostess of. April, the consultant, and I started talking and we instantly hit it off! She’s a great person and I’m so happy to virtually know her. 🙂 She offered a review to me, and how could I say no? I have always wanted to get an Origami Owl necklace, especially after my mom just passed away. I wanted a way to be able to pay tribute to her in jewelry form. Let me tell you – Origami Owl had lots of choices for me to make this possible!

Origami Owl Necklace in Memory of My Mom - Review | Optimistic Mommy

For the charms I had a tough choice because of all the great ones they have. The ones I ultimately decided on for my mom and their reasons were:

  • In Memory Of – For the obvious…
  • Mom Heart in Silver – Since she was the best mom ever.
  • April Heart Birthstone – She was born April 24, 1951.
  • Silver Heart with Red Crystals – She loved red, and I loved her very much.
  • Crystal Cross – She is with God now, and her passing has actually brought me closer to Him.

The plate I chose was the ‘Blessed’ because I was so blessed to have her in my life and to be able to call her my mom. The red crystal dangle is gorgeous and really adds some color to it!

I am definitely hooked and plan on buying more charms for different seasons and occassions. I love, LOVE the October charms there are and am thinking of making a Breast Cancer Awareness one since my mom was a survivor of breast cancer!

With all the great charms, plates, dangles, and chains, as well as tags, your possibilities are endless on what you decide to purchase! I guarantee that once you buy some, you will be hooked! Look at these beautiful necklaces:
