Summertime is my favorite time of the year! The sun comes out to play and there is so much to do and see. Believe it or not, there is some prepping that needs done when it comes to summer. I’ll let you in on how we prep for summer around here.
#1. Get the patio furniture out- One of my favorite things to do during the summer months is sit out on the patio. I LOVE soaking in the sun and eating with my family out there. However, it does require a little TLC. You can’t get ready for summer properly with your getting the patio set ready.
#2. Make the landscaping look awesome- Lucky me, I love landscaping. When I think of summer, I think of pretty flowers and bushes making our yard look awesome. Landscaping always takes some work, but it is one of the ways we prep for summer around here.
#3. Fire up the grill- You’ll find us, most summer nights outside firing up the grill. It’s pretty awesome to be able to cook up hotdogs and hamburgers on the grill anytime we want in during the summer months. My little family loves this part of summer.
#4. Get my summer wardrobe on- Okay, summer is not complete until I get out my summer clothes. I love wearing bright and fun clothes during the summer months. I also LOVE to paint my nails, wear flip flops, and head to the beach when I can.
#5. Enjoy my favorite ice cream treats- There is only one brand that I enjoy eating during the summer months and that’s Weight Watchers Ice Cream. Check out all of the delicious flavors they have available. I seriously could eat these for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
