Should I or Not?

Sharing is caring!

So I’ve been toying with the idea of combining my recipe blog (www.peaceloverecipes.com) and this blog. I just feel like I’ve been neglecting PLR so much lately and it would be so much easier to combine that one and this one. I want everyone’s opinions on this. Please check ‘Yes’ or “No’ on the form below and then if you have any comments or suggestions, leave them in the comment box for this post. Thanks for your help!

  1. If the recipes can be easily incorporated, then I say go for it! Much easier to maintain one website. 🙂

  2. You should, in my opinion. I started with two blogs and it was difficult to give either the attention they demanded. You can weave the two together fairly easily. I think we start blogging so carefully that we try to categorize our thoughts too much. We want to hit our niche exactly. A blog can present a wider variety of topics than we think. An entertaining style and mostly relevant posts keep people coming back. (I haven’t researched this – it’s just my hunch.)
I had spend a looooong time picking the name of the blog I ended up abandoning. I home school, and because my kids stay up late a lot and we studied Latin at the time, I called it “Late Nights and Latin.” I’ll let you figure out how that was interpreted by some people, who I saw had visited from shady sites. Trust me – it was nothing to do with home school, lol! So much for picking the perfect blog name. Sorry this is so rambling – I write faster in the morning. ; )
    Blessings,
    Lisa

  3. I say go for it and make your life a little easier. On my blog I have a little of everything and I still get readers, so don’t worry about losing readers, you might actually increase your readership.

  4. I think it depends on you. If you think you should, then combine them. If you are okay with one ot the other having less posts at any given time, and like that they are seperate, then keep them seperate. It sounds like you want to combine them, so go ahead!

  5. I voted.
