  • 5 tablespoons butter, divided
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 3/4 cup grated or shredded parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  1. Cook the pasta in boiling salted water according to instructions on the package.
  2. Melt butter in a saucepan over medium-low heat.
  3. Add cream and simmer for 5 minutes or until thickened. Reduce heat to prevent boiling.
  4. Whisk in parmesan cheese. Stir continuously until the cheese is melted and fully mixed into the cream and butter.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Reduce heat and set aside.
  6. Add 1 tablespoon of butter in a large pan over medium-high heat. Add shrimp to the pan and season with salt and pepper.

  • 1/2 teaspoon cracked black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 8-ounce package of cream cheese, cubed
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 1 tablespoon freshly minced garlic
  • 2 cups grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 teaspoon cracked black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons chopped parsley

Directions

  1. Begin cooking pasta according to package directions. As the pasta is cooking, season the shrimp with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  2. Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add shrimp and cook for 3-4 minutes, stirring often. Once shrimp are pink on both sides, remove from heat and transfer to a plate. Set shrimp aside.
  3. Using the same skillet, melt 1/2 cup of butter over medium heat. Add garlic and saute for 30 seconds.
  4. Add cream cheese cubes and Italian seasoning. Whisk to remove any lumps. Slowly add in milk 1/4 cup at a time. Continue whisking.

Directions

  1. Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Cook pasta al dente, according to directions on the package.
  2. Add broccoli to the boiling water about 2 minutes before the pasta is done cooking. Drain and set aside.
