I have tons of fun news to inform you about that is going on at Chick-fil-A Houston Road this summer! There’s lots of great events going on that you get to be some of the first to hear about! There’s lots to share, so let’s get started! 🙂

Since kids are about to be out of school for summer vacation, I know that you are probably looking for some activities to keep them occupied. Chick-fil-A is definitely a great place! Here’s a few reasons why:
- One of the most important – healthy menu choices! A healthy diet is so essential, especially for kids since it sets the path to eating healthier when they are older. Thankfully Chick-fil-A has great menu options, including grilled nuggets, buddy fruits, fruit cups, and low fat white or chocolate milk. Not to mention, these are all gluten free!
- The highlight to most kid’s meals are the toys, right? Well, did you know that at Chick-fil-A you can trade your child’s unopened toy for a FREE IceDream? I’m sure they will love this – and you will too because there will be no more little toys to trip over at home! 😉
- Your child will still be able to have fun without that toy they traded in – the Chick-fil-A kid’s meal bags can be used as a cow puppet! Next time you go, check out the bottom of the bag.
- If you have a baby or toddler, Chick-fil-A offers free table mats, as well as Cheerios. You probably never noticed them right by the condiment area, by the straws. These are great for the little ones!
- Don’t let the fun stop after the food is all gone – the CLEAN play area is a great way for your kids to burn off some energy.
- While the kids are having fun in the play area, you can get some work done thanks to the FREE Wi-Fi!
- Make sure to periodically check out the Family Event Calendar on Chick-fil-A Houston Road’s website. They have lots of fun events, including Mother/Daughter, Father/Son, Mother/Son, Father/Daughter and other themed Family Nights.
During the month of May, every Wednesday is FREE breakfast day! Between 6:30-10am you can get a FREE Chicken Biscuit or Spicy Chicken Biscuit. No coupon is needed, one per person, and you are able to get it by going through the drive thru or dining in! Don’t miss out on free breakfast!

The new grilled items are KILLER! I love the club sandwich and the nuggets are amazing!
I haven’t had any of the new grilled items yet! They look yummy though. I usually get the regular nuggets but have been trying to take the healthier approach to fast food. I am going to try grilled next.
Oh yum. I love our local Chick-fil-a and so do my children. It’s a treat to go and they love it. I’ll have to look for their new grilled selections.

I love the emphasis on ‘clean’ play area. That’s super important always, but def. when there are a bunch of kiddos around (and I love kiddos, I just know they can be germy 😉 ).
