Interactive learning is a hands-on approach to education for children. It gives them real-world experience with their school subjects as opposed to listening to lectures and memorizing facts (this is called passive learning, and it’s how many of us adults learned in school!).

Interactive learning encourages children to learn with all of their senses and their entire bodies. When they learn by doing, they learn more comprehensively. Some studies have found that children learn six times more from interactive activities than from traditional passive learning!
