Long Haul Flight

Long flights can be boring or in some cases  scary. When planning a trip,  you usually look for the fastest flights even if they are costlier than longer flights. The last thing you will think of is how you plan to spend all that time in one seat for so long. This question usually pops up only once you reach the terminal or once you are seated.

Here are some ideas (other than working) which can help you make the most of flying for hours:

Or it could also be a bestseller you picked up at the airport bookstore – some trending books we are currently loving are The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins Reid, a legendary film actress discusses her rise to fame with a journalist; Verity by Colleen Hoover about a struggling writer hired to complete the works of a permanently injured author, Atomic Habits by James Clear on losing bad habits and building good ones are just some.

Meditate

You can try to practice meditation such as kundalini chakra meditation and deep breathing on a long flight. This can help regulate your breathing, reduce anxiety from having to sit in one place, curb bored-binging on food and alcohol, aid sleeping and a hundred other issues.

Journal It!

Journaling is a great way to use time without phones and work to disturb you. You could make a list of all the things you wish to do once you land or just note down your visions and thoughts. Journaling will help you be more organized, remember important thoughts and tasks and give you clarity on issues you are dealing with. Let your creative juices flow by composing poems or sketching something that catches your eye.

Declutter Your Phone

Now that your phone is on airplane mode, you can use this time to clean your files and folders. Get rid of all those screenshots you have been hoarding, backup your laptop and transfer important data. You can get rid of those annoying notifications of
