What are the benefits of drinking cucumber and lemon water?

You will find that cucumber and lemon water offers many health benefits. From aiding in weight loss, improving skin complexity, and even helping with bone health and lowering blood pressure.  Also, you will find that the lemon and cucumber pair nicely together and really amplify your health benefits. 

How long does cucumber lemon water last?

You can infuse your water for up to 12 hours, and then you need to remove the fruit and cucumbers from the water. Then the water can be stored in the fridge for up to three days. When you go to serve add in fresh mint, ginger, lemon, and cucumber if you want for garnishment and added flavor. 

How much detox water should you drink a day?

This is up to you on how much you want to drink. Maybe will drink a glass of this water before each meal, three times a day. Other people who are active and exercise a lot, aim to drink around 5-6 glasses a day. It is totally up to you on how much you choose to drink.  

Can lemon reduce belly fat?

Lemon is known to help with boosting your metabolism, helping you to stay full in between meals, and hydrating your body. I add lemon to my water because it is a great way to help me overall in losing weight or staying on track with detoxing my body. I can’t fully say if lemon, in fact, does truly help you reduce belly fat

  • Mint | Fresh mint leaves can help settle an upset stomach, add a touch of sweetness to the drink and helps in digestion.  
  • Ginger | Ginger is great for balancing blood sugar, relieves nausea, promotes weight loss and more. It also adds a lot of flavor to this water.

Lemon Cucumber Mint Ginger Water Detox Recipe

Yield: 2 Liters

Ingredients

  • 2 Liters of Ice Cold Water
  • 1 Inch of Fresh Ginger
  • 1 Lemon
  • 1 Cucumber
  • 4 Sprigs Fresh Mint

Instructions

  1. Peel ginger and set aside.
  2. Slice cucumber (peel if desired), set aside.
  3. Slice lemon (peel if desired), set aside.
  4. In a pitcher, combine all your ingredients and place in fridge for a couple of hours or overnight.
